The Carolina Panthers go into New England and beat the Patriots 33-30 on a game-winning field goal. This should raise some red flags around the Patriots since they really could have lost last week. 1.) The Patriots Defense is maybe the worst in the NFL
No Team in the NFL has given up more yards than the Patriots. Considering the Panthers struggled against the Saints defense and scored 33 against the Patriots should be all you need to hear.
2.) The Patriots Are Never Out of the Game
Even though the Patriots couldn't get the win, they once again showed that they are in every game until the clock hits zero. Down by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and their offense scores twice quickly but their defense wasn't able to keep the Panthers off the scoreboard.

3.) The Patriots Really Miss Dont'a Hightower
The loss of Hightower has been huge for the Patriots and they continue to get beat over the middle and quarterbacks, in general, have been absolutely tearing them apart. The Patriots are 2-2 and a big reason is the absence of Hightower.
The Patriots will battle the Buccaneers next week and the Panthers travel to Detroit to play the Lions.
