“You’re too young to know what dirty is”: Julian Edelman among 3 Patriots mic’d up for Super Bowl 53

The Super Bowl is the biggest game on the pro football calendar — not just for players, coaches and fans but also for NFL Films. While the league’s video production company delivers breath-taking shots from the games throughout the season it usually steps its game up another notch on when the Vince Lombardi Trophy is on the line. Sunday’s game between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams was no different.

One big part of the coverage was, as usual, players and coaches wearing microphones. Overall, seven men were mic’d up for the 40-minute clip that come out of Super Bowl 53: head coach Bill Belichick, wide receiver Julian Edelman, and safety Devin McCourty for the ultimately victorious Patriots, and head coach Sean McVay, defensive tackle Aaron Donald, and offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth for the Rams.
