Will Campbell isn’t perfect, after all.
Campbell, who was selected by the New England Patriots with the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, has quickly become a fan favorite since arriving at One Patriot Place. It’s hard not to root for the guy who wants to die for his quarterback, shows fierce loyalty to his teammates and has a funny accent.
It’s hard to defend what he said on Friday, though.
“I was surprised there’s trees,” Campbell said following rookie minicamp on Friday, per team-provided video. “I had never been anywhere up here before, so I always thought this was a little bit closer to Boston and there was a bunch of big city buildings and stuff like that.
