FOXBOROUGH — Eric Rowe has only been in New England for a few days, but the versatile defensive back has spent all of his practice time at corner.
Rowe, the 47th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, played free safety for three years at Utah before transitioning to cornerback as a senior. He primarily played cornerback with the Eagles as a rookie, and it seems Bill Belichick would like to keep him there.
"I consider myself a corner," said Rowe, acquired in a recent trade with Philadelphia. "I've been focusing on it for the past three years.
