‘We can do better than that’: Tom Brady discussed the Patriots’ offensive struggles against Buffalo

After the Patriots beat the Bills, 16-10, quarterback Tom Brady smiled through the reality everyone was thinking: the offense could have been better.

Brady reiterated this point in his postgame press conference, explaining that the team “missed opportunities” to put points on the scoreboard. Brady was 18 of 39 for 150 yards, even throwing an interception in the end zone in the second quarter.

“You get a little careless and you think you got someone,” Brady explained about the mistakes made on offense. “The windows close pretty quick. Jules [Julian Edelman] beat his guy, and then he fell off and made a good play [but] that was a bad play by me.
