New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson has had an impressive preseason, and he continued that early in Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
He took the ball from eight yards out for a touchdown, giving the Patriots the first score of the game.
The touchdown itself concluded a nine-play, 52-yard drive that took 4:35 off the clock. Henderson showed tremendous patience in using his blockers to navigate his way into the end zone. The run showed off his explosive, playmaking ability.
It was Henderson's second preseason touchdown, following the 100-yard kickoff he returned for a score last week against the Washington Commanders.
