New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson showed off his shifty footwork in a one-on-one matchup against safety Kyle Dugger at Monday's practice.
The play was part of a drill that Patriots coach Mike Vrabel has been putting the team through in training camp. One offensive player and defensive player start off by running in the opposite direction, before turning around and running toward one another for a one-on-one tackling drill.
Henderson secured the ball, ran at Dugger, faked a juke inside and then bounced outside to win the one-on-one rep. The rookie second-round draft pick is electric with the ball in his hands, and he showed off elite quickness against the veteran defender.
