New England Patriots quarterback Joshua Dobbs worked some Houdini-like magic and rushed the ball into the end zone for a score late in the second quarter of Friday's preseason opener against the Washington Commanders.
Multiple Commanders' defenders were breathing down Dobbs' neck, as he somehow avoided being sacked and found enough space to scramble into the end zone for the score. The veteran showed off his savviness on the play, and it extended the Patriots' lead to 27-3 following the extra point.
The touchdown was just a continuation of an offensive onslaught for the Patriots in the first half.
