After being inducted into their Hall of Fame and seeing his No. 12 jersey retired by the team, Tom Brady will receive yet another honor from the New England Patriots. On Friday, the organization will unveil a 12-foot statue — a nod to Brady’s old jersey number — at Patriot Place Plaza.
The festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. ET, ahead of the Patriots’ preseason opener against the Washington Commanders. The ceremony will feature speeches from franchise owner Robert Kraft as well as the man of the hour himself, Tom Brady.
The unveiling of the statue will also be broadcast live:
Plans for the Brady statue were first announced during the longtime starting quarterback’s induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame last June.
