Everything looks easier when you're catching passes from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
That looked to be the case for former New England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton, a perceived second-round draft bust, after he hauled in a 58-yard reception from the three-time Super Bowl champion in Friday's preseason finale against the Chicago Bears.
Thornton's size and speed are tremendous physical gifts that the Patriots spent three NFL seasons trying to tap into. However, the potential never measured up to reality for the former Baylor standout. In three years, Thornton only mustered 39 catches for 385 yards and two touchdowns.
