New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye connected with wide receiver Kayshon Boutte for the play of the day at Thursday's joint training camp practice with the Minnesota Vikings.
The play came during a one-minute drill, after the Patriots' offense had given up two sacks and committed a false start penalty. Maye dropped back and lobbed a 40-yard bomb that resulted in a touchdown reception by Boutte with multiple defenders around him.
Patriots players ran out on the field to celebrate at the end of the play. It was a great way for the team to end practice after noticeable struggles on both sides of the ball against the Vikings.
