The New England Patriots scored their first touchdown of the 2025 season after quarterback Drake Maye connected on a pass to Demario Douglas late in the first quarter.
It was a beautiful throw by Maye, who put the ball in a spot where only Douglas could get it.
The drive itself took 12 plays, 52 yards and 5:20 off the clock. It was a much-needed play after the Patriots struggled to get things going on their first drive of the game. The drive started courtesy of an interception from veteran cornerback Carlton Davis III.
Douglas has been one of the more consistent players for New England over the past couple of seasons, and he continued to show why on this play.
