Tuesday morning was the AFC coaches breakfast at the NFL's annual spring meetings, a one-hour sitdown for half of the league's head honchos with the media who have gathered at the event, this year in Florida.
The breakfast was slated to begin at 7:15 a.m. Eastern, and judging from Twitter, every coach dutifully was in his seat at his designated table by that time - except one. Bill Belichick showed up at least 15 minutes late. After opening with a few words on recently-retired linebacker Jerod Mayo, a Belichick favorite, he then proceeded to show his disgust at having to be there, taking it out on the microphones and recorders set up to capture his words:
Bill Belichick don't like no stinkin' microphones.
