This Super Bowl LVI weekend seems a good time to cast our memories back XVII years to Super Bowl XXXIX.
That's when Jacksonville threw its big friendly arms open to greet the New England Patriots, the Philadelphia Eagles, a couple of ex-presidents, Sir Paul McCartney, Snoop Dogg, a bunch of lesser celebrities, many enthusiastic fans and a horde of grumpy journalists who were aghast that their expense accounts would have to be used in such a backwater burg.
