New England Patriots veteran David Andrews is well aware that he’s on the back nine of his playing career in the NFL. But entering Week 18 of the 2023 season, he’s not yet ready to say if it will be the last time he steps foot on an NFL field.
“I don’t know,” he responded on Thursday when asked if he knew how long he wanted to play for.
“We’ll see. I know it’s closer to my end than my beginning in obvious ways. I don’t know. I think every year you just try to get away, and I’m excited to do that this year and take a deep breath and evaluate.
