The list of New England Patriots offseason award winners begins with No. 3.
At least, that’s where Mike Vrabel started the list Monday when asked about the progression of wide receiver DeMario Douglas.
“Great energy, great demeanor, very coachable,” the Patriots head coach told reporters prior to the first full-pads practice of training camp. “One of our offseason award winners. So, he obviously worked extremely hard, was here every day, ready to learn, ready to earn a role. I love being around Pop. He’s got great energy and he’s got a lot of respect from everybody around here.
