When it comes to numbers, the Patriots have a deep, wide receiving room. Stefon Diggs is the unquestionable number one, with DeMario Douglas and Kyle Williams both having outstanding training camps. But the biggest battles within that group could come for the final roster spots.
Second-year man Ja'Lynn Polk is one of those guys, and one who many deemed to be on the outside looking in, especially after the Patriots signed Diggs this offseason and drafted Williams in the third round. Polk did not have a strong rookie campaign, finishing with just 12 catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
