FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- One of the fun stories surrounding the New England Patriots this offseason came last week when the team invited kicker Josh Gable to town for a tryout in its rookie minicamp. Gable kicks for the Nebraska Danger of the Indoor Football League and has caught the attention of many with his powerful leg and trick-shot kicks.
Gable hasn't signed with the Patriots, but in a Wednesday morning appearance on SportsCenter, he showed that he is a quick study to the team's preferred approach when it comes to divulging information.
Asked by host Matt Barrie the longest field goal he made in his tryout, Gable laughed.
