The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are turning to a former New England Patriots player for reinforcements along their offensive line.

The Buccaneers on Tuesday signed veteran offensive lineman Ted Larsen to their practice squad. He'll fill the spot vacated by another ex-Patriot, running back/kick returner Kenjon Barner, who was elevated to the 53-man roster Monday.

Larsen has a brief history with Bucs quarterback Tom Brady, as the Patriots took the NC State product in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and signed him to a four-year rookie deal.
