Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has stated for some time his desire to play football until he’s 45. Yet as he appears to be having a down year statistically — for him, at least — it’s fair to question if Brady, 41, has changed his stance.
In Sunday’s win against Buffalo, Brady was 13 of 24 for 126 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions and a QB rating of 48.3. The last time Brady had a lower rating was 2006, following a four-interception performance against the Indianapolis Colts for a 34.0 rating.
Those numbers are not discouraging Brady from talking about the future, though.
