In what was a difficult game for the New England Patriots in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams, a certain graphic shown during the game reminded Patriots fans how the organization has been unable to develop a receiver through the draft.
For all the success that New England has had developing defensive players — and, really, players at every other position on the depth chart — the Patriots have not had as much success developing wideouts.
Looking at the list, several of these names leave a lot to be desired. Malcolm Mitchell was hampered by injury, and was never able to reach his full potential.
