FOXBORO -- Terrance Knighton has long made it known that he's a die-hard Boston sports fan. A native of Windsor, Conn., that love extends to the Celtics, who are in the market for a big-name free agent this offseason.
The biggest fish in that pond is easily Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant, who is currently, along with point guard Russell Westbrook, leading his team to the brink of an NBA Finals appearance. Heading into tonight's game with the Golden State Warriors, the Thunder own a 3-1 series lead.
The general thought is that the Durant-to-Boston dream for Celtics fans is just that, because the Thunder have proven their worth as a team that can compete with anyone and Durant would not have to leave Oklahoma City to win a title.
