Stephon Gilmore has been in the NFL for eight seasons, so he has a good idea of how things work and how the league is ultimately a business.
So when speaking to ESPN's Mike Reiss, he acknowledged he wasn't shocked Tom Brady left the Patriots this offseason.
"Not surprised," he said. "A player like him, playing somewhere that long, you never can see it, but it shows you that in the National Football League it can be anyone going somewhere. It's a business, and that's how you have to look at it.
