Bon Jovi, a Patriots fan, was the “Keeper of the Light” at the Sunday, Dec. 17 New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs game at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, but the Chiefs won anyway, 27-17.
The Sayreville native's duties included ringing a ceremonial bell at the stadium prior to the game. The Chiefs were apparently boosted by the attendance of Taylor Swift, who is dating their tight end, Travis Kelce.
“He is famous for his soaring guitar riffs and well-crafted melodies,” stated the Patriots announcer before Bon Jovi rang the bell. “Patriots scoring drives have been punctuated for years by his lyrics and playoff crowds have sung along with him!
