Sophomore cornerback Isaiah Bolden clears waivers, opening door for potential return to Patriots

The New England Patriots were able to retain three of the four players they let go on Wednesday among a series of roster transactions. Now, the stage appears set for the fourth to also return into the fold.

Cornerback Isaiah Bolden, who the team cut alongside wide receiver Jalen Reagor, offensive lineman Michael Jordan and defensive tackle Trysten Hill, went unclaimed through the waiver wire. The belief is that he is a strong candidate to re-join the other trio on the New England practice squad in the near future.

Bolden, 24, joined the Patriots as a seventh-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.
