Some thoughts following an incredible win on Christmas Eve:
1) Sunday night’s game certainly had a little bit of everything.
New England had mistakes, turnovers, missed opportunities, but a collective effort on both sides of the football ultimately allowed them to weather the storm and come away with a 26-23 win out in Denver.
After losing the football on the first play of the game thanks to James Ferentz seemingly not being ready for the blitz the Broncos brought on that snap, Bailey Zappe and the Patriots’ offense appeared on the verge of seeing a repeat performance of a script that’s been all too familiar.
