The Denver Broncos are making a change at quarterback following their 26-23 loss to the New England Patriots. Russell Wilson is riding to the bench for the final two games of the season, according to a report by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Former Patriots QB Jarrett Stidham is taking over as Denver’s starter.
Wilson is in his second season since joining the Broncos via trade. The long-time Seattle Seahawks QB and one-time Super Bowl winner has not lived up to expectations so far, however.
His first season as a Bronco resulted in a coaching change, with the organization bringing in Sean Payton to help get the team back on track.
