FOXBOROUGH - Since the start of training camp, Josh McDaniels has lined up rookie TreVeyon Henderson all over the formation, trying to take advantage of mismatches.
Four practices in, it seems fairly obvious the Patriots offensive coordinator believes Henderson, who has an explosive gear, could be a valuable weapon in the passing game.
“[McDaniels] loves to get the playmakers out into space. And so, I feel like that’s one of the strengths of my game, getting out into space in those one-on-one matchups,” Henderson said following Saturday’s practice. “I’m looking forward to that.
