Ron Borges’ final Patriots report card: A Super assessment

When you go 17-2 and win the Super Bowl you could justify giving everyone an A and just go on summer vacation, but that’s not reality.

Some units were better than others this season with the offensive line and the secondary making the greatest improvements in the second half of the year. Tight end was adversely affected by the loss of Rob Gronkowski for half the season and the linebacking corps took much of the year to find its identity and proper lineup.

Even coaching had its down moments, none worse than against Seattle in the regular season and Houston in the postseason.
