FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Longtime New England Patriots center David Andrews said Monday that he retired from the NFL after 10 seasons because he only wanted to play for one team.
"I didn't want to go do it for another organization. That wasn't what I had in mind to finish my career. I wanted to finish it here and I did," he said.
Andrews won two Super Bowl championships in New England after joining the team as undrafted free agent out of the University of Georgia in 2015 and was named a captain in his final eight seasons.
