Dion Lewis’ injury has been somewhat of a mystery, like most things surrounding the New England Patriots.
There’s a reason there hasn’t been much positive news about Lewis this month: He reportedly needs another knee surgery.
Jim McBride of the Boston Globe said Lewis, who hasn’t practiced in training camp, needs a second knee surgery. He was coming back off a torn ACL, which he suffered last November. There seemed to be optimism he wouldn’t start the regular season on the physically-unable-to-perform list, but now it seems he’ll miss at least a good part of the season.
