The Patriots have been linked to Will Campbell leading up to Thursday’s draft, and it appears they’re doing their homework on the offensive tackle before they use the No. 4 pick.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, members of New England’s staff traveled to Louisiana in recent days to visit with Campbell.
It’s unclear who from the Patriots made the trip.
Offensive tackle is a priority for New England this offseason. While they’ve also been linked to Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter — who would also fill needs — they’re not expected to be available when the Patriots are on the clock.
