Since the free-agency period began at 3 p.m. CDT Wednesday, the NFL transaction report has announced 150 player signings. Running back Damien Harris was not among them.
But for a little while – long enough to get Harris’ attention – the former Alabama standout appeared on his way from the New England Patriots to the Atlanta Falcons.
The confusion started when the FOX Sports NFL Twitter account reported Harris had signed a one-year contract with the Falcons and cited agent Ian Greengross as the source of the information.
