Here come the young quarterbacks.
When the NFL playoffs begin, six or seven (depending on which teams qualify and injury situations) could be led by quarterbacks currently 25 or under. And that list doesn’t even include the great Patrick Mahomes, a former league MVP and Super Bowl champion that’s in his 26-year-old season.
So, how do the young quarterbacks chasing Mahomes for the title of the next great signal caller stack up? Here’s how I’d rank the 25-and-under quarterbacks in the NFL right now based on current play, body of work and potential upside into the future.
