Raiders say Tom Brady will work closely with GM to pick Las Vegas’s next head coach

The Raiders released a statement on Monday morning, announcing their decision to fire head coach Pete Carroll.

Las Vegas will conduct a search for its fourth coach in three years. Josh McDaniels was fired in 2023. Antonio Pierce was fired in 2024. Now, Carroll is gone.

Minority owner Tom Brady will have a role in picking Carroll’s successor, the team said in its statement.

“Moving forward, General Manager John Spytek will lead all football operations in close collaboration with Tom Brady, including the search for the club’s next coach,” team owner Mark Davis said.
