QB prospect J.J. McCarthy reportedly set for pre-draft visit with Patriots

Another top quarterback prospect is reportedly heading to Gillette Stadium for a pre-draft visit with the Patriots.

J.J. McCarthy is scheduled to meet with New England the week of April 15, according to The MMQB’s Albert Breer.

The Michigan product joins LSU’s Jayden Daniels and UNC’s Drake Maye as the three quarterback prospects known to visit Foxborough for meetings with the Patriots ahead of the draft. Maye met with the team on Friday, while Daniels is reportedly set to meet with the front office on Monday and visit Gillette on Tuesday.

McCarthy, 21, is coming off a national championship victory and a perfect 15-0 season with the Wolverines.
