It’s no revelation that Tom Brady can further entrench himself in the record books this year as he continues to excel in his 16th season. And it has been widely trumpeted that the Patriots quarterback — with 399 career touchdown passes — needs just one more to join Peyton Manning (533), Brett Favre (508) and Dan Marino (420) as the only NFL players with 400 career touchdowns.
What’s not as highly publicized is that Brady’s hot start (having completed 63-of-91 passes for 754 yards and seven touchdowns with zero interceptions) has him poised to join Manning in an even more exclusive club.
