Powerful Words Spoken at Patriots' David Andrews' Retirement Press Conference

With tears in his eyes before he could even speak a word, New England Patriots' two-time Super Bowl champion and eight-time captain, center David Andrews, delivered his speech at his retirement press conference this afternoon.

But before Andrews spoke, owner Robert Kraft spoke, followed by a video tribute from many of Andrews' teammates over the years.

"From undrafted to opening day starter," Kraft said. "David is the only offensive lineman in our history of 65 years to accomplish that feat."

The Patriots legend was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia in 2015, and after an injury to the starting center, Andrews defied all odds to win the starting job and start the first game of the 2015 season.
