According to a report by NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport on Saturday, wide receiver Julian Edelman will be placed on the New England Patriots injured reserve list
Edelman underwent surgery on his knee earlier this week and according to head coach Bill Belichick will be out “at least three games”.
“We’ll see how the return goes,” Belichick told reporters on Friday. “I mean, I don’t think this is a season-ending situation, but we’ll see. I’m not a doctor. We’ll see how it goes here. Hopefully he’ll be back. I know he has worked awfully hard and nobody’s more competitive than Julian is.
