Pats Pulpit Podcast Episode 175: Patriots offense struggles against the Texans, lose control of #1 seed

The New England Patriots lost to the Houston Texans in what was a blowout, prior to garbage time. The defense played well enough to win, but the offense turned the ball over as a gift to the Texans at the start of the game, abandoned the run, and were just uninspired all around.

This has been the story of the Patriots offense for all of 2019. The Patriots defense is playing its best football of the Bill Belichick era, and the offense is struggling to show any kind of consistency. That might work against some of the weaker teams in the NFL, but the offense has come up short against the three playoff caliber teams they’ve faced- the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and Houston Texans.
