FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots' 35-28 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles was naturally a disappointment to the team, and when there is a loss, the media coverage generally trends to the negative and what went wrong.
That’s understandable, but it’s also not a completely accurate reflection of what unfolded.
With this in mind, here are some “silver linings” from film review; things the Patriots did well or that fell right for them. Later Monday night, there will be a blog post on areas where the team struggled.
Running game: At the end of the game, my general feeling was that the struggles of the offensive line were partially a result of not establishing enough of a running game.
