The New England Patriots are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in the season opener on Sunday.
Both teams have met in a season opener one other time back in 2005. That year, the Patriots defeated the then-Oakland Raiders by a 30-20 margin.
This will be a tale of two teams that have undergone significant changes in the offseason. Both have hired new head coaches with the Patriots hiring Mike Vrabel, while Pete Carroll joined the Raiders. The Patriots have added new offensive weapons, including four-time Pro Bowler Stefon Diggs, electric rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson and rookie first-round draft pick offensive tackle Will Campbell.
