Christian Barmore will still receive his full 2024 salary despite it being unknown whether he will play this season.
The New England Patriots will pay the star defensive tackle what he’s owed for the upcoming season, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday, despite Barmore being on the non-injury list. Teams are not required to pay players who are on the NFI list.
The 25-year-old was diagnosed with blood clots in July and is out indefinitely.
Barmore is coming off his best year in the NFL. He totaled 8.
