The roster movement continued on Tuesday for the New England Patriots’ offensive line.
The Patriots waived guard Najee Toran, according to the NFL transaction wire, after adding free agents James Ferentz and Alex Redmond to the interior depth chart as the week began.
Toran had been among eight Patriots to opt out of last season due to Covid-19 concerns.
The 25-year-old originally entered the league with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA in 2018. And in the fall of 2019, Toran joined New England’s practice squad.
