After locking up a playoff spot last weekend with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars (+14)
and a Miami Dolphins (+5.5) loss to the Tennessee Titans (-10.5), the New England Patriots (-5.5) will take on that same Miami team in a game this Sunday that likely won’t have too much of an effect on their playoff positioning.
Without getting into all of the scenarios, (you can find those here) New England’s chances at winning the division and possibly grabbing the #1 seed in the conference are alive, but slim.
