The New England Patriots were unable to complete their season sweep of the Buffalo Bills. After winning the two teams’ first meeting earlier in the year, they were beaten 27-21 in a more competitive game than some of the numbers would suggest.
The Patriots, after all, turned the ball over four times in the first half — including one returned for a touchdown. However, they were able to keep the contest close in large part due to good defensive play and a resilient performance from the offense.
At the end of the day, however, the Bills did do enough to outlast New England.
