The NFL season is starting back up again, which means a return of the New England Patriots.
The Patriots will be playing against the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend, Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024.
Veteran Jacoby Brissett will be the starting quarterback this season, as rookie Drake Maye was told to sit on the beach and watch as a backup, a decision that comes with some controversy. (For what it's worth, Tom Brady, who sat behind Drew Bledsoe his rookie year, said he agreed with the decision.)
This will also be the first regular season game for coach Jerod Mayo, who is taking over the Patriots this season.
