On Tuesday, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady reiterated that Donald Trump is someone he considers a friend, saying, "I support my friends in everything they do." That led the New York Daily News to create the above cover for its Wednesday newspaper, slamming Brady for continuing to back Trump despite his numerous divisive and vitriolic comments.
On Wednesday, Brady cut his weekly press conference short after getting back-to-back questions about the Daily News cover and his relationship with the Republican presidential candidate.
