FOXBOROUGH — The New England Patriots came into training camp without having a clear starting left tackle. However, after one week of practice, they appear to have found a solution.
Jared Wilson, who was selected by the Patriots in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft, was the starting center at Georgia in his final collegiate season. However, the Patriots signed veteran center Garrett Bradbury this offseason, so they decided to give Wilson the chance to compete at guard. And he has impressed.
Even after Bradbury left practice early with an injury on Tuesday and was absent on Wednesday and Thursday, New England opted to have Ben Brown move up and take snaps with the top unit, while keeping Wilson at left guard.
