Patriots Super Bowl hero pleads no contest to reduced charges after DUI arrest

Former New England Patriots star Malcolm Butlere pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge, a reduced penalty from the charges he faced following his arrest in March.

On March 16, the former New England Patriots star was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Butler’s attorney, John Harwood, told reporters that Butler is now ready to move on from the incident.

“We’re rather pleased. We entered a plea today on behalf of Mr. Butler to a reckless charge, a reckless driving charge,” Hardwood said to reporters, via WPRI in Providence.
